Sam W Lee

Sam W. Lee serves as the deputy director of the Cutaneous Biology Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. Since 2006, he has helped lead a team of investigators working to advance the study of biology. Study areas include cancer, molecular biology, developmental biology, immunology, and chemical biology. Additionally, Sam W. Lee oversees the financial and administrative aspects of the Cutaneous Biology Research Center, which includes recruiting researchers, promoting their work, and maintaining day-to-day operations.

Sam W. Lee is credited with developing a new educational environment at the center, adding seminars, tutorials, and courses. He also works with faculty and trainees on their grant writing, research programs, and personal development. As a result, the team has received several new federal grants, and published hundreds of articles in high profile journals.

Dr. Lee is also an associate professor at Harvard Medical School, a member of the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT, and a member of the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center.
